Okay, here we will spend a bit more time, so read carefully.
Meditating is very powerful for lucid dreaming, yet, not a lot of people are aware of it.
In fact, it is not important only for your lucid dream experience, it is extremely significant for your overall quality of LIFE.
It is simple and the best part is that it will take ONLY 10 minutes from your day (of course that is just the minimum, anyone can meditate for a longer period).
The essential connection between meditation and lucid dreaming is that in both cases, you aim to reach a high self-awareness.
The easiest way to regular lucid dreams is making a mental habit to observe and be aware of your surrounding. Meditation is simply the best way to become mindful.
The more frequent and deep meditation you can fit into your daily habit, the easier you will be able to recognize when you are dreaming!
We want to share with you COMPLETELY FREE COURSES that will teach you:
2. How to meditate without silencing your mind (beginner friendly)
For a detailed explanation of the courses check our article HERE.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, being CONSCIOUS and AWARE of your surrounding is CRUCIAL for lucid dreamers. In other words, MEDITATION is required.
If you meditate just before going to sleep, it can be even while laying in your bed, you might experience an interesting thing.
It is called hypnagogic state, that will make you feel sensations such as floating, you might also feel auditory hallucinations or appearing dream scenes.
3. Increase your Melatonin levels
The pineal gland is a small part of the brain, which produces melatonin.
Melatonin is very important for our normal sleep patterns since it regulates our sleep-wake cycle.
High melatonin levels positively affect the quality of our dreams and influence the success of lucid dreaming.
You can increase melatonin by:
• Going to sleep and waking up at a similar time every day
• Eating more foods that stimulate melatonin production such as:
– light and dark mustard, almonds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, cherries. Also, (but in less quantity): rice, oats, red radish, bananas, tomatoes.
• Sleeping in complete darkness helps our body produce more natural melatonin – you can easily do that through the use of a SLEEPING MASK.

4. Lucid dreaming and Acetylcholine
Lucid dreaming starts in the brain, which is why you need to know about how your brain functions in order to lucid dream.
Acetylcholine (ACh) is a neurotransmitter, a chemical in the brain that transmits messages from one nerve to another. Changes in neurotransmitters manage our sleep cycle.
Although the precise nature of the connection is unclear, by observing the outcomes, scientists acknowledge the fact that acetylcholine is essential to sleep, dreaming, learning and memory.
Taking supplements that raise ACh levels will increase the awareness of your brain while dreaming, furthermore, it can be used to improve your lucid dream experience with the help of maintaining your consciousness.
It is very simple – is Acetylcholine improves our memory of dreams and promotes REM sleep, and boosting the ACh levels will promote vivid dreams!
There are two ways to increase acetylcholine:
1: You can increase acetylcholine while you sleep, promoting the production of acetylcholine
2: You can slow the breakdown of acetylcholine
For the first way, Choline bitartrate is an essential nutrient and a building block of acetylcholine, whereas alpha GPC can help promote the production of acetylcholine and can help you to increase your Ach levels during your dreams.
Foods that are naturally high in choline include whole eggs, meats and fish, and whole grains. (KEEP READING FOR A DETAILED LIST WITH FOODS!)
For the second option, Huperzine-A will slow the break down of acetylcholine. Huperzine-A can cause lucid dreams much more effectively than choline.
However, if you take both of them together, these two supplements will take your lucid dreams to a whole new level.
keep in mind that you will only want to take these after you’ve had at least 4 hours of sleep (meaning you’re going to want to wake up in the middle of your sleep cycle).
Also, check with your doctor before you take any of these or at least, inform yourself well by using reliable sources for side effects and so on. If you decide to take any of the products – do it at your own risk.
5. ENHANCE your lucidity
There are plenty of reports from people saying ” I became conscious but not for long”, ” I woke up almost immediately after I became lucid ”, ” I was lucid but I couldn’t control my dream” and so on.
Let me tell you something: Lucidity can be tricky.
It may slip away right after you feel it. So in order to make your experience longer lucid dream, here what you should do:
– that will stabilize and simply focus your mind on the fact that you are dreaming
• Tell yourself “I’m dreaming”
– whenever you feel your awareness is decreasing, start thinking about the fact that YOU ARE DREAMING
• It is NORMAL if you lose your lucidity
– Especially for beginners, it can be pretty hard to focus for a longer period of time.
Just try to frequently remind yourself that you’re dreaming and to bring your entire awareness to the scene of your dream

The roles of vitamin B6 is to convert the essential amino acid tryptophan into serotonin and niacin.
Tryptophan is converted into 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) which increases the serotonin levels in the brain.
Higher doses of vitamin B6, tryptophan and 5-HTP are boosting your serotonin levels, which play an essential role in regulating the sleep/wake cycle.
Furthermore, Vitamin B5 is used along with Choline to create the neurotransmitter Acetylcholine, which is the primary neurotransmitter used in REM sleep.
This increases the vividness and the recall of dreams.

There are a few simple solutions:

Removing your clothes and being naked will help keep your core temperature in check.
4. Open your window – that will help circulate air, similar to using a fan. Another benefit of leaving your window open has to do with carbon dioxide levels…

So it’s important to exercise either early in the morning or in the afternoon!
Our advice? YOGA!
Yoga promotes the production and secretion of endorphins such as melatonin and serotonin, which not only make us feel better, but they also help us feel relaxed and promote a good night’s sleep!
